Maintenance Request Management — Release Blog (v0.1.32)

Maintenance Request Management

Released in v0.1.32

Version 0.1.32 introduces a full maintenance request management system to the myProp portal. Tenants and landlords can now raise, track, and resolve maintenance jobs end-to-end without contacting their agency directly.

What's New

Submitting a Maintenance Request

Clients can submit a new maintenance request through a multi-step form built directly into the portal. The form collects the information needed for the agency to triage and act on the request, and guides the user through the relevant steps based on the category of issue they are reporting.

Step-skip logic is applied automatically for certain maintenance categories — where a step is not applicable to the selected category, it is skipped to keep the flow concise and relevant.

Tracking Jobs

Once a request has been submitted, it appears in the client's maintenance job list with real-time status updates. Clients can see at a glance:

  • The current status of each job
  • Which contractor has been assigned
  • A history of notes associated with the job

Contractor Assignment

When the agency assigns a contractor to a job, that assignment is surfaced in the portal. Clients no longer need to call in to find out who is attending or when.

Note Management

Notes can be added to a maintenance job by both clients and agency staff. This creates a shared, contextual log of communications and updates against each specific request, keeping all relevant information in one place.

Completion Workflow

Jobs move through a defined completion workflow. When a job reaches resolution, the portal reflects this, giving clients a clear record of what was raised and how it was resolved.

FixFlo Integration Override

For agencies that use FixFlo as their maintenance intake platform, v0.1.32 introduces override capabilities. This allows myProp to intercept or supplement the standard FixFlo flow where needed — for example, routing specific request types through the native portal form rather than redirecting to FixFlo. Agency configuration determines which path is taken.
