Contractor Account Management

Contractor Account Management

Introduced in v0.1.42, the Contractor Account Management feature gives contractors a self-service hub inside the myProp portal. Contractors can monitor their work, submit invoices, and review financial information without needing to contact the agency directly.

Overview

Contractors who are linked to a letting or estate agency via the AgentOS platform can log in to myProp and access a dedicated contractor view. This view is scoped to the contractor's own jobs, finances, and documents.

Features

Account Summary Dashboard

The dashboard presents a high-level summary of the contractor's account, including:

  • Current balance — Outstanding amounts owed to the contractor.
  • Remittance information — Details of recent or upcoming payments from the agency.

This gives contractors immediate visibility into their financial standing without requiring a phone call or email.

Job Management Table

The job management table lists all work orders associated with the contractor. Each row in the table provides key details about an individual job, enabling contractors to:

  • See all active, pending, and historical jobs in one place.
  • Quickly identify which jobs require action.

Completion Tracking

Contractors can update and track the completion status of their assigned jobs directly within the portal. This keeps both the contractor and the agency aligned on work order progress in real time.

Invoice Submission

Once a job is completed, contractors can submit invoices through the portal. This removes the need to send invoices via email or post, and integrates the billing step directly into the job workflow.

To submit an invoice:

  1. Navigate to the Job Management table.
  2. Select the completed job you wish to invoice.
  3. Use the invoice submission option to attach and submit your invoice details.
  4. The agency will be notified automatically.

Historical Statement Access

Contractors can browse their full transaction and payment history through the statements section. This includes:

  • Past remittances received.
  • A record of invoices previously submitted and processed.

Historical statements are useful for reconciliation, tax reporting, and verifying payment records.

Who Can Access This Feature?

This feature is available to users who are registered as contractors within the AgentOS platform. Access is determined by the agency's configuration — contractors do not need to request portal access separately if their agency has enabled the contractor portal.
