Irish Legislation & MUD Act 2011 Compliance
Irish Legislation & MUD Act 2011 Compliance
The Irish Legislation page provides tools for managing compliance obligations under Irish property law for multi-unit developments (MUDs). It is accessible from the main dashboard navigation.
Scope
This page covers obligations governed by the Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011 (MUD Act). It is the central location for tracking OMC compliance checklists and related statutory requirements.
Note (v1.0.113): Local Property Tax (LPT) functionality has been removed from this page. LPT is a personal liability of individual unit owners and is not an OMC obligation. The LPT tab, summary card, and allocation dialogs are no longer present.
MUD Act 2011 Checklist
The MUD Act 2011 checklist tracks whether a development's OMC is meeting its statutory obligations. Checklist items are managed through the Irish Legislation page and remain fully functional.
Common checklist categories include:
- Annual General Meeting (AGM) obligations
- Service charge budgeting and disclosure
- Sinking fund maintenance
- Common area management
- House rules enforcement
- Insurance of the development
What Is Not Managed Here
| Item | Reason |
|---|---|
| Local Property Tax (LPT) | Personal owner liability — not an OMC function |
| Income tax on rental income | Personal owner liability |
| Owner mortgage details | Outside OMC scope |
