Development Setup — New Development & Wizard
New developments can be created using either the Quick New Development form or the step-by-step Development Wizard. Both routes collect the same core information about the development, its OMC, buildings, and units.
Quick New Development Form
Available at Developments → New Development. Fill in the required fields and submit to create a development record immediately.

v1.0.113: The "LPT Reference Number" field has been removed. LPT is not an OMC responsibility and is no longer collected during development setup.
Development Wizard
The wizard guides you through setup in structured steps. Access it via Developments → New Development → Use Wizard.
Step 1: Basic Details
Development name, address, and Eircode.
Step 2: OMC & Legal
OMC registration details, PSRA licence number, management fee, and insurance information.

Step 3: Buildings & Units
Define the physical structure — add buildings (e.g. Block A, Block B) and individual units. Buildings are optional for single-block developments.
Building fields: Name, number of floors Unit fields: Unit number (required), type (Apartment / House / Duplex / Penthouse / Commercial / Other), building assignment (if applicable)
Step 4: Review & Submit
Review all entered data before creating the development.
After Creation
Once a development is created you can manage it from the Development Detail page, including:
- Editing OMC and legal details
- Managing buildings and units
- Viewing service charge settings
- Tracking MUD Act 2011 compliance
